Name an entire world — a grand descriptor fused to a geographic or mythic root, for maps, campaigns and novels.

How these names are built
World names sit above city and region names in the naming hierarchy, so they use bigger vocabulary: elemental and cosmic roots (Storm, Ember, Star) plus grand geographic suffixes (-reach, -march, -mere). A world name should be sayable in one breath and memorable in one hearing. 24 × 24 = 576 worlds.
How the generator works
Every result is rolled from 24 + 24 word banks — 576 combinations — using your browser's random source. Nothing is typed in by hand and nothing is sent anywhere: the whole tool runs on your device.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a world name different from a region name?
Scale of vocabulary: worlds get cosmic and elemental roots, regions get landscape roots (moor, fen, downs). Keep the tiers consistent and your map will feel designed.
How many should I generate before choosing?
Roll 20 and shortlist 3 — the right world name is usually the one you can say without stumbling.
